Many of the leading U.S. Automotive Retailers have agreed to promote and support the Auto Stimulus Plan, a private sector stimulus program that gives consumers up to $4500 of additional trade-in value to make it easier for them to get into a newer more fuel efficient vehicle.

Participating dealers agree to offer the following for qualifying vehicles:

• Provide up to $4500 of additional trade-in value for qualifying vehicles (vehicles older than 2007)
• Provide special financing options where available that allow consumers to get an affordable monthly payment All financing options on approval of credit.  
• Offer the additional trade-in value towards the purchase or lease of a new or used vehicle
• Offer short term leasing options on approval of credit
• Offer all other applicable factory and government incentives if consumers qualify

We also encourage participating dealers to offer additional incentives to make it easier for consumers to get into a newer, more fuel efficient vehicle. Actual programs available through the participating Dealer, if any, are offered at the sole discretion of the Dealer.
